To enjoy your candles as intended, it is important that they are burned correctly.

For the very best experience of these beautiful scents, please note the following...

 

Keep Wick Trimmed
Each time before lighting, ensure the wick is trimmed down to about 5mm. This will cut down on smoke, as well as help the candle to burn more slowly, to ensure an even burn.

 

Don’t Burn For Short Periods
Once burning, avoid blowing the candle out if possible until the entire top of the candle wax liquefies to the edges of the glass vessel. This is especially important when you burn your candle for the first few times, to prevent the candle from ‘tunnel’ burning down the centre. To achieve the optimum total burn time for the candle, we recommend burning for 2 - 4 hours at a time.

 

Avoid Drafts
Avoid drafts, which can cause the candle to burn unevenly. If you see the flame flickering a lot, move your candle to a different location. If drafts are unavoidable, try rotating the candle each time it is lit to even out the burn.

Re-use Golden Glass
The signature metallic glass vessels make stunning display and decorative items.  To ensure its preservation, discontinue burning when there is approximately 5mm of wax left at the bottom. Place the almost empty vessel in the freezer for a few minutes. The wax will shrink a little, enabling you to pop it out of the glass more easily.
